Endodontics
Endodontics
Indulgence for body and mind
By definition, endodontics is the part of dentistry that deals with the inside of the tooth. It involves diagnosing and treating diseases of the dental pulp as well as infections of the tooth roots.
The dentist will perform what is called a “root canal”, that is to say, will remove infected or potentially infected tissue in the dental pulp and roots. The following steps, which are somewhat more technical, consist of a thorough cleaning inside the roots using mechanical action and disinfectants.
These are undoubtedly the longest treatments in dentistry because they can last from 1 hour to 2 hours depending on the number of roots to disinfect, the ease of access and the waiting times that must be observed to allow the disinfectant to act.
In this context, the iDent clinic has chosen to offer you dental chairs with memory foam and premium upholstery which curve with your body shape. This allows you to enjoy your dental and endodontic treatments without compromising your comfort. In addition, our chairs are fitted with neck rests instead of traditional headrests, further increasing your comfort.
